Albany school district appoints new Superintendent

Albany's school board will hold a special meeting tomorrow to vote on appointing its new school superintendent, Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard.
She comes to Albany from Paterson, New Jersey.
She will be the first African-American Superintendent of Albany's public schools.
A public reception with Dr. Van Wyngaard will be held after the vote, starting at 4:00p.m.
