Burglars steal more than $9,000 worth in Dorset

Two burglaries happened on Mad Tom Road in the town of Dorset.
Police believe the crimes took place Saturday night when power was knocked out by severe storms in the area.
More than $9,000 in items was stolen.
Police aren't sure if these burglaries are related to several others in the area over the past several weeks.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
