SCHENECTADY - Two firefighters are rushed to the hospital for smoke inhalation after a three alarm fire in Schenectady.

It broke out shortly after noon at 1137 Congress Street.

The fire chief says a driver saw the flames, stopped his car and alerted residents, who were able to get out safely.

It's not known what caused the fire yet.

Firefighters also battled a nearby fire on Foster Avenue at the same time.

That fire, they say, was minor.
