Ballston Spa music teacher to spend over 5 years in Federal Prison

BALLSTON SPA - A 35-year-old music teacher from the Ballston Spa School District will spend the next 5 1/4 years in Federal Prison on Federal child porn charges.
Tim Brehmer was sentenced today. Authorities say he downloaded child porn for 13 years before he was arrested last year as part of a nationwide 'sting' called 'operation predator'.
As part of his plea deal, Brehmer had to surrender his teaching certificate and resign from his job with the Ballston Spa Central School District.
