Fahy winner of 109th Assembly seat

ALBANY - In the 109th Assembly District Patricia Fahy is leading the pack with 98 percent of precincts reporting. The race is to replace Jack McEneny, who is retiring at the end of his term.

Frank Commisso Jr. is a member of the Albany Common Council.

Jim Coyne is the former Albany County executive who did time in federal prison for a bribery scandal in the 1990s.

Patricia Fahy is the former president of the Albany City School Board.

Christopher Higgins is an Albany County legislator.

Attorney William McCarthy is with the attorney general's office.

Margarita Perez is the chief of staff to state Sen. Jose Peralta.

The winner faces Republican Ted Danz.

The 109th district covers the western section of Albany, Bethlehem, New Scotland and Guilderland.
