ALBANY - Albany detectives arrested a 23-year-old Clinton Avenue man this afternoon in connection with last night’s homicide on Ontario Street.
Bernard White, of 522 Clinton Ave., was arrested following an investigation by detectives.
He was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery for his role in the shooting death of 35-year-old Alex Duncan of Albany.
He was arraigned this afternoon in the Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
Antwan Uptegrow, 35, of 108 Bradford St., a second party relevant to this investigation, was arrested and held on a New York State Parole warrant. He is also being held at the Albany County Jail.
As detectives to continue to further investigate last night’s incident, we are asking anyone with information to call the Albany Police Detectives Division at (518) 462-8039.
Officers responded to 104 Ontario St. around 9:45p.m. after receiving a call that a man had been shot. When officers arrived, they located Alex Duncan, 35, of Second Street, with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
