Weekend work to resume on Twin Bridges

A reminder that work will resume tonight on the Twin Bridges.

Starting at 8:00p.m., the Northbound bridge over the Mohawk will close.

That means that traffic will be diverted to the southbound bridge, with only one lane open to traffic in each direction.

State DOT says the span will reopen before the morning rush hour on Monday.

In the meantime, drivers are urged to consider alternate routes.
