TROY - Troy police seized $115,000 in cash during an early morning drug raid in the city's North Central Neighborhood.
The six-figure cash haul in a neighborhood where many of the homes don't sell for that much certainly drew the attention of neighbors, most of whom aren't surprised the suspect arrested is charged with selling cocaine.
Short stacks of folded hundreds lay on a table at Troy Police Headquarters.
Nearby a safe that was smashed to get at the contents inside.
Police say they also found some crack and powdered cocaine when they raided this house at 2534 5th Avenue near Jay Street.
Arrested without resistance was 34-year-old Jamaine Myers.
Myers appears to fit the description of career drug dealer.
Police list 10 arrests, 8 previous convictions for drug related charges.
This will be number eleven.
