There is more fallout in Massachusetts over the state crime lab scandal. The state's public health commissioner, John Auerbach, has resigned.

He says what happened at the lab was unacceptable and the buck stopped at his office.

State Police closed the lab last month after discovering that a chemist had failed to follow testing protocols and may have deliberately mishandled key evidence.

The Berkshire County district attorney says that so far it appears no cases in our area were compromised.
