SCHENECTADY - We often hear the phrase "people with disabilities," but an upcoming art show at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is focusing on their "abilities."

The exhibition is open to the public for the month of October at the Schenectady facility, for viewing and sale. There will also be a fundraising event on October 12, emceed by NewsChannel 13's Benita Zahn.

Chip Eisenman, Sunnyview's CEO and Jim Nolan, a former patient and chair of this year's "Art for the View" event, sat down with Beth Wurtmann on NewsChannel 13 live at Noon to preview the event.

Sunnyview is run by Northeast Health and St. Peter's Health Partners, and is only facility in the Capital Region that offer rehabilitation services for disabled patients, and one of four in New York State.
