Albany permit parking system may not take effect until November

ALBANY - Residents in downtown Albany will have to wait a bit longer for the city's new permit parking system to go into effect.
Common Council Member, Richard Conti says it will likely be November before the new system is implemented.
It was originally scheduled to take effect October 1, but details are still being worked out.
Roughly 1400 new signs must also be installed.
