Two arrested for stealing a collection jar

State Police arrest two individuals responsible for stealing a collection jar from the Schoharie Animal Shelter in Richmondville.

17 year old Thomas Tashar of Richmondville, and 18 year old Zachary Ferguson of Warnerville stole the jar back in August.

They were apprehended after police identified both Tashar and Ferguson on a security camera. Both are charged with petit larceny and are due to appear in court on September 26th.
