New Albany superintendent begins Monday

ALBANY - Monday is first day of school for the new superintendent of Albany City Schools.
Dr. Marguerite Vaden Wyngaard started her day by visiting three schools.
She is the first black, female superintendent of Albany's public schools.
Dr.V, as she likes to be called, promises to focus on student achievement and improving academic success as well as safety in and around schools.
