Police say man assaulted man after breaking into home

Bennington - Police in Vermont arrest a man accused of beating another man with a baseball bat.

Police say 32-year-old Joshua Camp of Bennington broke into a woman's home early this morning and hit her boyfriend multiple times with the metal bat.

Police say he also vandalized the man's truck before he fled.

Police later arrested Camp, who is facing aggravated assault and other charges.

No word on the condition of the alleged victim.
