Man makes jail escape attempt in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY - Police in Montgomery County say a 21-year-old inmate tried to escape, but never got past his cell window.

The discovery was made during a routine check of the jail.

Police say they found a broken bunk drawer and glass inside the cell of Raul Vasquez.

Vasquez was already in jail on weapons charges.
