Police vehicle struck on Route 9 South

SARATOGA SPRINGS - A Police vehicle was struck on Route 9 South earlier today, with charges pending against the passenger of the other involved vehicle.

A Saratoga Springs Police vehicle was hit with a car being operated by a 50 year old female Tuesday afternoon.

According to police reports, the passenger of the vehicle, 45-year-old Aurelio R. Bidinost, grabbed the steering wheel, deliberately steering the car into an oncoming police car.

No one was injured as a result of the vehicle collision.
Saratoga Springs Police will charge Bidinost with reckless endangerment later Tuesday evening.

An investigation is underway, additional charges may follow pending the outcome.
