Work to close ramp from I-787 north to South Mall Expressway

ALBANY - The state Department of Transportation is warning drivers that the ramp from Interstate 787 northbound to the South Mall Expressway in Albany will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on  Wednesday and Thursday for a bridge inspection.

The closure is weather dependent.

DOT is also reminding drivers that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
