Chicopee man drowns in lake after boat capsizes

CHICOPEE - Police say a sixty year old Chicopee man was fishing with a friend when their boat capsized on Sheffield Lake.

The friend swam safely to shore, but the victim did not make it.

Police tell the Berkshire Eagle that the lake is so remote that the survivor yelled for help for 90 minutes until someone heard him.
