ALBANY - Burnt out candles sit propped up outside 104 Ontario Street, where 35 year old Alex Duncan was gunned down and killed late at night on September 13th. Shannon Hanks feels like a light has been gone from her life for the past two weeks.

"They took his life and I will never forgive them for that. They took a good man away from his children, his family, he had a loving family," Shannon said.

They were together for 16 years. Now everyday, their 6 children, ranging in age from 5 to 15 want to know why this happened to their daddy.

"I have no answers. I have none," she said.

Shannon can't answer why it happened. But she may be able to answer the question who did this? Police have arrested three more men in connection with the homicide. Antwan Uptegrow, Uquawn Bean and Shaquan Oliver of Albany are all charged with murder and robbery. They're all convicted felons, charged with parole violations.

Bernard White of Albany was arrested on murder and robbery charges the night of the killing.

Police say Duncan was standing outside a barber shop with friends that night when the suspects demanded money. When he didn't have enough cash, police say the criminals killed him.

Shannon says the arrests bring her some peace. But it doesn't bring Alex back.

"I'm happy they're not on the street, not able to have someone else's family torn apart. But I just feel so angry," she said.

Shannon says she doesn't know the guys police arrested and she doesn't know if or how Alex would have known them either. She believes he was randomly targeted. A terrible case of wrong place, wrong time.
