Boy, 11, killed as he tried to save siblings

BALLSTON SPA – Lane Rowe, 11, was killed Monday afternoon when his family’s minivan struck him.
It seems the sixth grader from O’Rourke Middle School was killed as he was trying to stop the minivan from rolling into traffic.
The accident happened in the driveway of the family home on Blue Barn Road.
Today Lane is being remembered as a hero.
According to his grandmother he would always help out if asked.
