Restored WWII planes making stops at 2 local airports

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) - Three World War II airplanes are scheduled to make stops at a pair of local airports as part of a Massachusetts-based aviation history group's Wings of Freedom Tour.
    
A B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator and a P-51 Mustang are scheduled to leave Rutland, Vt. on Wednesday and make the short flight to Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport outside Glens Falls, where they'll be available for tours and flights into Friday.
    
The next stop is the Schenectady County Airport in Glenville, where the planes will be parked on the tarmac at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum from Friday until Monday. The planes then head to Pennsylvania and Maryland.
    
The Stow, Massachusetts-based Collings Foundation owns the restored warplanes and flies them around the country to air shows and living history programs.
