Stabbing in Amsterdam injures one

AMSTERDAM - An early morning stabbing in Amsterdam sends a man to the hospital.

It happened around 4:15 Thursday morning in the area of Wesleyan Avenue and Chapel Place.

Police say two men were fighting inside a car.

The fight spilled over into the street and that's when the stabbing happened.

We don't know the victim's name but we do know he underwent emergency surgery at Albany Medical Center.

No arrests have been made.

There were two other passengers in the car. They were not hurt.
