More than one hundred gather in Washington Park to help re-dedicate a century old monument.

The Soldiers and Sailors monument was dedicated on October 5th, 1911 to remember those who died in the Civil War.

A group that looks after Washington park raised $12,000 to help repair the statue. Last night's ceremony included music from the Civil War era, a military honor guard, and wreath-laying.
