MOREAU - A well known Saratoga philanthropist is now accused of stealing more than $26,000 from the Glens Falls Hospice organization where he worked.

Robert Spratt Jr., 44, is charged with grand larceny.

Spratt worked at The House of Grace of the Adirondacks.

He is well known for being involved in many charities. Police say it does not appear that he took money from other organizations.
