Police searching for counterfeiting suspects

COLONIE - Colonie police are searching for several people who are passing counterfeit money at several locations throughout the area.

Police say over the last three weeks there have been eight incidents involving counterfeit $20 bills, and four involving counterfeit $100 bills.

You are looking at surveillance photos of the suspects.

Police say the passing of $20 bills and the passing of $100 bills do not appear related.

Anyone with information is asked to call Colonie Police.
