New York State Police welcomes 133 new graduates

ALBANY - The New York State police are getting 133 new troopers.
A graduation ceremony took place Tuesday at Empire State Plaza for the first academy class since 2009.
The graduates increase the agency's total of sworn officers to 4470, lower than the number of troopers three years ago, 4800.
State budget constraints halted recruiting.
