Albany - Lieutenant Commander James Prouty came to the LaSalle school to let the students know that their future is as bright as they make it. He knows this because he was in their shoes 23 years ago. Now, he's a Navy Commander delivering a message of respect to about fifty young men between the ages of 12 and 21. Prouty spent his sophomore year at LaSalle and admits the discipline, rules and regulations were all a bit of a wake up call. He calls the experience one of the best things that ever happened.
