Route 4 in Fort Ann reopens after massive rock slide

FORT ANN - Route 4 in Fort Ann is once again open to traffic after this week's massive rock slide.

The road reopened Wednesday afternoon.

It's been shut down since Monday morning when a cliff gave way, sending giant boulders and piles of rock tumbling onto the road below.

Crews worked around the clock, using heavy equipment to break the stone apart and remove it.

No one was hurt in the slide.
