TROY - At least 14 people are being helped by the Red Cross tonight after a fire damages two buildings in Troy this evening.

Flames tore through the second floor of 447 Sixth Avenue at around 6pm.

The fire spread to the neighboring building at 449.

No one was injured.

The Fire Chief tells us it appears to be accidental.

Neither home is a total loss, but the building where the fire initially started had extensive smoke and water damage.
