ALBANY - In response to a local farm that turned down a same-sex couple's wedding request, Melisa Erwin and Jennie McCarty filed a discrimination complaint against Liberty Ridge Farm.
The farm's owners told NewsChannel13 they felt they acted in line with their values.
Now a spokesman for the owners says they feel their rights are being violated and that they plan to contest the complaint.
The complaint is among the first of its kind since the state legalized same-sex weddings last year.
