Watervliet man hospitalized after throat slashed

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a man remains hospitalized after his throat was slashed by his daughter during an argument.
    
Police say the father and daughter were arguing Sunday when the woman grabbed a knife and slashed him.
    
The father was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he's expected to recover.
    
Police charged the daughter with assault and possession of a weapon. She was sent to Albany County Jail. Police haven't released her name.
