TROY - 150 children got a warm surprise in Lansingburgh today.

It’s something some of them may not have had, if not for the generosity of a local store, and bank.

The three and four-year-olds, learned just how special they are this morning.

Each young student received a new winter coat that fit their style and personality.

It's a gift from Cap-Com Federal Credit Union.

The students are part of the head start program in Lansingburgh.

Without a program like this a new warm coat, is something some young ones here may not have had this winter.

All the coats are from Lodge's in Albany.

Lodge's says business is up 15 percent this year.

The store is an Albany staple; it's been around since 1867.
