STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. - Gene Shalit, a movie reviewer who was a fixture on the Today Show for over 35 years, lost control of his car and hit a utility pole and then a house.
The Berkshire Eagle reports Shalit did not suffer any serious injuries.
Shalit, 86, lives in Stockbridge. That's where the accident happened Wednesday on Housatonic Street.
