Fatal shooting in Schenectady

Schenectady police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning outside The Mason's Club on Schenectady Street. Multiple people called 911 around 4:00am reporting hearing gun shots.

The victim, George Lloyd III, was transported to Ellis Emergency Room on Nott St. with multiple gunshot wounds where he died from his injuries.

Officials are investigating, but say they have no one in custody. They ask anyone with information to call the Detective Division at (518) 382-5245 or the TIPS line at (518) 788-6566.
