Diabetes affects more than 25 million children and adults in this country.
Making things worse, 79 million people have pre-diabetes, which means they are at risk for developing Type-2 diabetes.
An upcoming event hopes to raise awareness.
Dr. Matt Leinung from Albany Medical Center and Denise Nicastro from the Diabetes Association stopped by to tell us about a forum that is being held on Thursday, November 8, from 6-9p.m..
