ALBANY COUNTY - If you ride the bus in Albany County, you'll soon start noticing some changes.

CDTA announced new routes Thursday as part of phase two of the restructuring project in the county.

The changes include the creation of the Hudson River Express, suburban circulator and a new line in Altamont and Voorheesville.

CDTA says it's all about boosting ridership and providing a better experience for customers.

"If you haven't been on a bus in a while, I think you'll find it to be dramatically different from what you might remember a bus ride to be. If you think about trains and subways and things of that nature, that's what buses are becoming like," said Carm Bazile of CDTA

The new changes take effect Sunday, November 11.
