Even though Senator Roy McDonald dropped out of the race after losing the republican primary, he may still get some votes on Tuesday.

The latest Siena Research Institute poll takes a look at the state Senate races. In the 43rd senate district Republican Kathy Marchione leads at 40 percent. Democratic Challenger Robin Andrews received 25 percent.

In the new 46th District, Republican Assemblyman George Amedore leads Cecilia Tkaczyk 47 percent to 44 percent. The district winds from Montgomery County to Ulster County.
