SALEM - The man accused of causing a house explosion that killed six people last year wants two weeks to consider a plea deal from the district attorney's office.
Steven McComsey is charged with six counts of manslaughter.
Under the potential plea deal, McComsey would spend one to three years in state prison.
Authorities say he tampered with a propane tank in the basement of the Route 29 house, just minutes before it blew up on July 13, 2011.
McComsey's girlfriend, Tammy Palmer, was one of the victims.
