Bennington school on lockdown after bullet is found in classroom

BENNINGTON - Police say school administrators found a cartridge on a classroom floor at the Mount Anthony Union Middle School in Bennington.

Inside was a 22-caliber bullet.

Students were sent home early without going to their lockers.

Police then searched those lockers and the building and found no other threat.

No one was hurt.
