Man accused of shooting dog with pellet gun

EAST GREENBUSH – A man faces animal cruelty charges for allegedly shooting his neighbor’s dog with a pellet gun, Monday afternoon.

Police say 48-year-old Dallass Enapay shot the four-year-old Irish Terrier, in the woods between the two houses on Elliot Road.

The dog was treated for injuries to his scrotum and thigh.

He was released to his owner, and will be reexamined on Tuesday.
