ALBANY - An Albany head shop is now permanently banned from selling dangerous and mislabeled designer drugs.

The state attorney general secured the ban against Shining Star on Lark Street.

In addition, its owner must pay $14,000 in fines.

The decision comes after a store employee allegedly sold a senior investigator the drugs and told him how to use them.

The drugs included bath salts, synthetic marijuana and nitrous oxide.
