Police: Man stabbed wife, found holding child

HOOSICK - Authorities in Rensselaer County say they responded to a house in the town of Hoosick and found a woman bleeding from her stomach, and a man in the basement holding a four year old child, and a knife.
45 year old Sean Muller is now in jail without bail.
The sheriff's deputies were called to the house for a stabbing report.
Police are not releasing many more details, but they do say the child is ok.
The injured woman was taken to a hospital.
Police say her injuries are not life-threatening.
