16-year-old charged in cell phone theft

A 16-year-old girl in Warren County is accused of breaking into a home in the middle of the night and stealing a cell phone.

The county sheriff's deputies arrested Cassidy Leroux.

Authorities say a resident of Mockingbird Lane woke up to someone walking around in her bedroom just before midnight on Saturday.

The homeowner chased the person and called police.

Leroux was caught a short time later.

Police say she entered the home through an unlocked door.
