Rensselaer County steps in to help local drug maker expand

RENSSELAER - Rensselaer County is stepping in to help facilitate Regeneron's expansion project in Rensselaer.
The legislature has approved a resolution adding Regeneron to the County Sewer District.
The county says the move was necessary because the expansion will exceed the capacity of the East Greenbush sewage treatment plant.
The $70,000,000 project is expected to create 300 new jobs.
