EAST GREENBUSH - A coach in the East Greenbush School District is under arrest, accused of stealing money intended for student sports teams.

Police say 38-year-old Daniel Hansen took a check for nearly $4,000 and deposited it into his own account and spent it.

Hansen has served as the assistant football and baseball coach for the school district.

He had also been involved in fund raising efforts for the Sports Boosters Club, which is where the money was supposed to go.
