Ballot counting continues in the battle for New York’s 46th Senate District.
This is the hotly contested race between Republican George Amedore and Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk.
Ballots are being counted in Greene County Friday.
Election officials have 11,000 absentee and provisional ballots to consider.
This race could ultimately decide which party controls the state senate.
