Baseball coach suspended after alleged inappropriate communication with students

AVERILL PARK - A teaching assistant at Algonquin Middle School is out on administrative leave amid a state police investigation.
State police say there are allegations of inappropriate communication between the man and students.
The school district tells us he is not permitted on school grounds, but won't release his name.
They did tell us he was a baseball coach.
State police are interviewing the children involved and their parents.
