The Amber Alert out of Bronx, NY has been canceled

The Amber Alert for two children out of Bronx, NY has been cancelled.

Police said the alert was cancelled around noon Sunday, when the children were found in the car in Harlem. Authorities are still searching for Fitz Edwards.

According to WNBC, police said Nazir Edwards, 5, and Mlyliah Edwards, 2, were abducted by their father at around 4 a.m. after a domestic altercation.

Police say Fitz Edwards, 29, fired a gun during the dispute and set the home on fire before taking the children. No injuries were reported.

No further details have been issued by police.
