Vermont State Police confirm six year old Joseph "Jo Jo" McCray is found alive and well Sunday morning after he went missing from a family hunting trip Saturday afternoon.

The missing child was found around 9:30 Sunday morning less than two miles from where he was last seen off Rt. 7 in Sunderland Vermont. Officials say he was able to walk out of the woods on his own, but will get a medical evaluation to be on the safe side.

About 120 volunteers and members of the State Police Search and Rescue, K9 units, Fish and Game, and local fire departments were involved in the search effort.
