Police: Man slashed in head and stomach during break-in attempt

GLOVERSVILLE - In Fulton County, police say a man is slashed in the head and stomach while trying to break into a Gloversville home.
According to officers, Michael Anderson broke into an apartment on West Pine Street, intent on beating up a man who lived there.
During the scuffle, police say the victim cut Anderson with his pocket knife.
Anderson was treated and released from the hospital and charged with burglary and assault.
